Xiaomi already debuted the Redmi Pad Pro tablet in China in April this year and now it gives it a global debut, or better said a debut in Europe. It’s a 12.1 inch slate, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor.

We’ve heard that this model and the POCO Pad are pretty much the same and yes, we can confirm, that they do share a few specs. The newcomer, Redmi Pad Pad Pro was already posted on the EU and UK Redmi websites and can be purchased with an early bird offer. It features a 12.1 inch LCD display, with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and it also has a screen to body ratio of 83.6%.

Its refresh rate is 120 Hz, which can drop down to 30 Hz. The panel offers a 1500:1 contrast radio and shows off 68.8 billion colors. The max brightness can reach 600 nits. It also offers 4096 levels of brightness, DC dimming and also support for Dolby Vision. And then we have the acoustics, with a set of quad speakers with Dolby Atmos.

Available with 6 or 8 GB of RAM (LPDDR4X) and also 128 or 256 GB of storage (UFS 2.2), the device comes with a microSD card slot. The 10.000 mAh battery charges at 33W. There are also dual speakers here and HyperOS as the platform of choice. On top of Android 14 of course. Camera-wise, we get an 8 megapixel shooter at the back and one at the front.

On the connectivity side of things, there’s Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and an audio jack (3.5 mm). The body is a metallic unibody one, that weighs 571 grams. The prices start at 299 euros.
