Ramos is a Chinese company responsible with the Ramos X10 Mini Pad, a quad core Android slate that clones the iPad Mini. The price is also quite reasonable for this gadget, at $180.
This product perfectly imitates the design of the iPad Mini, featuring a near identical brushed alloy body, an easy to hold small form factor and Android as the OS. The Ramos product has a diagonal of 7.85 inches, the same as the Apple tablet. While this product is the same as the iPad Mini on the outside, the inside specs are actually better.
The product has a quad core 1.5 GHz processor and 1 GB of RAM, while the iPad Mini has 512 MB of RAM and 1 GHz dual core CPU. Early reviews are reporting good benchmark results on the Ramos device, with 13,729 points in AnTuTu, for example. The X10 also has a better front camera, a 2 megapixel one, plus a microSD card slot, 16 GB of storage and even a micro HDMI port, so it’s actually more appealing than the iPad Mini.
