This tablet doesn’t ring any bells to me, but since it has reached the FCC, it must have something going on for the folks who will have the chance to buy it. It may be the low price, some kickass unique specification… or who knows… a customized UI? This Pandigital device is an 8 inch tablet/e-reader dubbed SuperNova.
It’s powered by Android 2.3, follows a 9 inch predecessor (Novel) and it focuses more on the e-reader side than the tablet action. Barnes & Noble’s Nook app comes pre-installed and we don’t even get access to Android Market on this beauty. You can download apps from SlideMe and in other news, you get a front 0.3 megapixel camera and 3MP main cam at the back.
4GB of internal memory, HDMI, microSD and mini USB are the rest of the features. Price and availability are mysteries for now, but I supposed we’ll find out those pretty soon.
