I didn’t even know they made Android 2.0 devices any more, but here comes Pandigital and its tablet to shatter that impression. This is basically a $59 piece of plastic with some circuitry and Android 2.0 on it. Listed on Ben’s Outlet, this device is not quit a deal if you ask me.
Maybe if you want to experience the past Android OS… but other than that I can see no reason to buy this. There’s also the option of giving this Android 2.0 Donut to a child or a young one who just enters the Android universe. Anyway, you should know that the tablet’s specs include a 7 inch 800 x 600 pixel display, a Samsung ARM 11 processor and a 1600 mAh battery. It comes with a preloaded Kindle app and its very own app store. Sadly, there’s no Google Play Store here or Google services fr that matter.
The tablet also makes things interesting by lacking hardware buttons and replacing them with virtual nav buttons on the toolbar. Inside the box of the Pandigital slate you’ll find an USB cable, a stand and a wall mart. Only 45% of the units left on stock as of now, so hurry up, vintage hunters!
