Orange Tahiti is a device that I’ve found available both in East European nation Romania and UK, via Orange Romania and Orange UK respectively. Having a look at the specs of the Tahiti and its design, I have a feeling this is actually the Huawei MediaPad, the first slate to bring Honeycomb 3.2 down to 7 inches. Feel free to correct me if it’s another model…
Anyway you’ll get this slate for around 49 euros in contract, a 2 year commitment that also brings unlimited Internet access and high speed download for the first 15 GB. Orange Tahiti features a 7 inch TFT touch display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, a dual core 1.2 GHz processor, a 5 megapixel camera and 8 GB of internal memory.
Also on board you’ll find GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi 3G, a microSD card slot and a HDMI port. The device weighs 390 grams, comes with a battery that provides about 6 hours of browsing and video playback and it has Honeycomb 3.2 as the OS of choice. Getting one?
