As Realme Pad prepares to debut and Vivo is also making a tablet of its own, another company from the BBK giant is coming up with a slate. It’s Oppo, whose tablet has just leaked in renders and details.
It seems like a bigger and better specced effort compared to the Realme Pad, to be honest. And since Oppo and OnePlus have been fused, it’s probably a matter of time till we also get a OnePlus tablet. The leak comes from Digital Chat Station, who showed the Interwebs this Oppo Tablet rendering. According to the source, this is a high end device with narrow bezels, the Power button at the top and side volume keys.
The design actually feels quite a bit like the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6. Even the front camera position stays the same. Interestingly, the device will run on ColorOS for Pad, spinoff or fork from ColorOS, which is a custom UI created on top of Android 11. Just like HarmonyOS for MatePads it has a dock bar and desktop widgets that support quick operations. ColorOS 12 focuses on Internet of Everything, so interconnectivity is a big deal.
Specs-wise, I’m expecting a Snapdragon 860 or 870 CPU inside, 6 GB of RAM, a 7000 mAh battery or even bigger, plus 128 GB of storage. A 5G version would also be nice, plus stylus input, a keyboard and quad speakers. 120 Hz refresh rate is also something we could get.
