OPPO held a pretty big event yesterday, during which they announced the Find X8 phone series. There was also a new tablet there, the OPPO Pad 3, with a 12.1 inch 3K display and a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

The OPPO Pad 3 was introduced during an event in China and it comes with a 12.1 inch IPS LCD display with a 2K resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate. There’s also a 7:5 aspect ratio and the tablet comes with Dolby Vision, 6 speakers with omni bearing sound field technology and Dolby Atmos. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor inside is accompanied by 16 GB of RAM.

The device runs on Android 14, with colorOS 14.1 on top. There’s a singular 13 megapixel main camera here, inside a round camera bump. The device has a metal unibody chassis and uses a generous 9510 mAh battery, with 67W SuperVOOC charging. We also have a smart touch keyboard, a Pencil 2 Pro stylus, that supports 10.000 levels of pressure and a vibration motor that simulates pen strokes.

The device comes with in multiple configurations, that include 8 GB, 12 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB of UFS 3.1 storage. There’s also an 8 megapixel front camera, 6 speakers and all of that in a slim 6.49 mm chassis. It weighs 586 grams. There’s even Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and the price starts at $463.
