Some companies are not willing to wait until CES 2011 and they’re ready to make the people spend their last bucks after Christmas in order to purchase a hot new product. Such an interesting device is the Onkyo TA117 tablet, that was unveiled recently in two versions: TA117C3 and the TA117C1.

You won’t find many differences between these two, aside from RAM and storage. TA117C1 features 512MB of DDR3 RAM and 8GB of internal memory, while TA117C3 packs 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. What these two models have in common is a 10.1 inch touchscreen display (1024 x 600) and Android 2.2 Froyo.

Other specs include, a Tegra 250 CPU, WiFi, Bluetooth, a microSD card slot, HDMI output and a 1.3MP camera. No 3G on these units sadly, although it would have been a fine addition to the package. Pre-orders for the device start tomorrow, so keep an eye out for Onkyo’s product.
