As we previously informed you, the Google Event has been canceled due to some unforeseen circumstances. That doesn’t mean that the rumors have stopped surfacing on the Internet and we now have some confirmation regarding things we expected Google to announce today.
In case you’ve read our article regarding the Google Event, then you know what to expect in the coming weeks. If not, then let me tell you that we know that the price for the Asus manufactured Nexus 7 tablet is about to go down. Not only that, we also expect a 32GB variant to be available, along with 3G versions for the tablet. The 32GB variant is known to be offered for the same price that the 16GB version is sold now while the 8GB variant will be pulled from the market.
Office Depot now comes to confirm all the rumors we’ve read about lately and posts new pricing info for the Nexus 7. According to them, the 32GB variant for the tablet is offered at $249 while the price for the 16GB Nexus 7 tablet is also being reduced. The 16GB Nexus 7 is now tagged with the price of $199.99. It is also known that many Office Depot locations have in stock the 32GB variant of the Nexus 7 tablet. We are still waiting for Google to reschedule their event and announce the new date. Be sure we’ll keep you informed if they do.
