Today we’ve come across a very interesting tablet/projector hybrid, a device called Odin2, that will be able to put your favourite movies on the wall or canvas with ease. It handles Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer and more and it’s already reached its goal of funding on Indiegogo.

The Odin2 has a 5 inch touchscreen for control purposes and it runs on Android 6.0, so you can use it as a mini tablet. Video calls are also available, plus you can mess around with Spotify, Tidal, or Apple Music, enjoying the tunes from the 2 cm diameter speaker. Specs include a quad core chipset, 2 GB of RAM and apparently you can even plug in an Xbox or PlayStation console and play games on a bigger diagonal.

There’s autofocus here, a microSD card slot, HDMI of course and the camera and microphone let you perform video and voide calls. The LED light source on the Odin2 generates 300 lumens of brightness and we also get a native HD resolution of 720p and a max resolution of 1080p. The light source is said to last over 30,000 hours, which is quite impressive.

Odin2 achieves a 37 inch screen size from 1 yard and a 110 inch screen size from 3 yards. The price of a product is $525 via Indiegogo and shipping happens in June 2017.
