O2 has just announced that the Joggler device will be getting Internet Radio, through a service delivered by PURE, but recently switched on over the air. Over 100 radio stations will be available on the device for free and you should know that O2 cut the price of the Joggler, now available for £99.99.
PURE and OpenPeak have adapted the radio and media portal, The Lounge for the O2 Joggler, that now delivers the most popular UK BBC and commercial radio stations. The Lounge is the portal where you’ll find over 12,000 streamed Internet radio stations, podcasts and more. O2 also intends to upgrade Joggler with Flash 10, up from Flash 8, available on it now.
This enhancement will aid developers in the process of making new apps for the tablet. Expect an SDK to be available soon via O2 Litmus and this device will even get its own app store by the end of the year, claims the same carrier.
