FPD 2010 was the perfect occasion to showcase a 7 inch Super AMOLED display, on the following generation of Samsung Galaxy Tab slates. Aside from this type of panel, we’ve heard that a 10.1 inch unit will also be produced in the future. Apparently, the new Super AMOLED screen will support a WSVGA resolution (1024 x 600 pxiels), just like the current Tab.

Speculations claimed that we were going to see a 1200 x 600 pixel display used on the new slates, but I guess we’ll have to wait a bit longer. What’s interesting is that Samsung also showcased an interesting prototype of a clamshell device, with two 4.5 inch screens. Wonder what that is all about…
