A new and unknown ASUS tablet received the approval recently from the WiFi Alliance and it seems like a new FonePad is coming our way. The newcomer is dubbed ASUS K00S and can be seen below in shots that don’t tell us much about the product.

The K00S is capable of making phone calls, runs on Android 4.3 and relies on a 1.2 GHz processor and 1 GB of RAM. It also has a 7 inch display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and a 5 MP camera at the back. There’s a 3 megapixel webcam upfront and the whole device weighs 340 grams. WiFi, Bluetooth and USB are all on board and there’s also an SD card slot present.

The device’s case seems to be made of glossy plastic, much like the MeMo Pad HD 7. The back side of the K00S doesn’t look like the one of the first FonePad, so that’s interesting. Of course, the name could change and we could be wrong about the product, so take the info as you will.
