There’s a new mystery LG slate in town, the LG-P451L model, that was recently certified by the WiFi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG authorities. While the details about the device are pretty much lacking, what we know for sure is that it’s a slate with Android on board.

The mystery model is present in both the Bluetooth SIG and WiFi Alliance databases and it was first certified last November. The application was listed yesterday, at least in the Bluetooth SIG database. Based on Android 7.0 Nougat, the product could be related to the LG G Pad III series, or maybe the LG G Pad X series, with 8 inch and 10 inch units made available last fall.

The P451L is the LG tablet that premieres Android Nougat for the company, in the slate area and it’s no wonder, since LG was the first non Pixel phone maker that launched a Nougat handset, the LG V20. If I were to guess, I’d say this will end up as a media tablet, to rival the Huawei MediaPad M3, but that’s only my assumption.
