Motorola is turning its razr 70 clamshell foldable into a fashion accessory with the limited-edition razr 70 with Crystals by Swarovski. Revealed ahead of IFA 2026 as part of the Brilliant Collection, the new version centers on a dark PANTONE Meteorite colorway and Swarovski’s Silver Night crystals rather than changes to the phone’s core hardware.
A design built around the hinge and back panel
The edition uses a matte, quilted back panel with 35 Swarovski crystals placed by hand. A separate, larger crystal sits on the hinge and has a 32-facet cut. Motorola also includes a transparent case intended to protect the phone without concealing its distinctive finish.
This is not Motorola’s first Swarovski collaboration: the company previously released a razr 60 Swarovski model in the Brilliant Collection. The razr 70 version continues that approach, treating the foldable format as a highly visible personal accessory while retaining the usability of a compact phone that opens into a larger display.

Under the decorative exterior, this remains the razr 70. Its 3.6-inch outer display can run full apps, reducing the need to unfold the phone for quick tasks, while the 6.9-inch internal Extreme AMOLED panel provides the larger workspace when it is opened. The phone also carries two 50-megapixel rear cameras; the ultrawide camera uses pixel binning to produce 12.5-megapixel photos. Motorola’s AI features and a 4,800mAh battery are also part of the package.
Motorola says the razr 70 with Crystals by Swarovski will reach most global markets in limited quantities, but it has not announced pricing or provided specific U.S. availability details. It appears aimed at buyers who want the razr 70’s pocketable foldable design with a substantially more ornamental finish, rather than shoppers looking for upgraded performance or camera hardware.
