N-Trig is an Israel-based company that’s responsible for pen/capacitive touch technology in tablet PCs, like the recent HP Slate. Now, the company wants more brands to adopt its tech, so it has announced that it’ll provide support for other operating systems, like versions of Linux and more. Android tablets are also in the work, with this input method on board.

The result will be slates with capacitive touchscreens, that provide support for both pen and finger input. Too bad that very few Android apps rely on pen input, so there must be developers who really want to expand this technology, if N-Trig really intends to make it big.
