Meizu is back to life, this time not making an iPhone clone, but an iPad rival. We’re talking about the Meizu Mbook, an 8.4 inch touchscreen slate, pictured below and packing a 1.5 GHz processor. Its specs list includes 1080p output via a HDMI port and the device’s screen is known to support a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution.
Mbook also supports WiFi, 3G, features a GPS and its touchscreen is a capacitive display, rather than resistive. The device measures 14mm in thickness and its battery should last for up to 12 hours. The OS on board is Android, very much customized and if you’re wondering about the price, we have no info on that.
Meizu’s product should hit the shelves in 2011, it seems.
