Developers are coming up with pretty nifty ideas based on MeeGo’s tablet UI, especially after the very first conference related to the platform, that ended last week. This time we see the Lenovo Ideapad with an UI called Plasma on top, that looks pretty fluid and intuitive. This is only a prototype for now, so if you spot any trace of lag, expect it to be corrected in the final version:
Imagine what a version of this OS for smartphones would do… it might change the game in Nokia’s favor and give Android and iOS a run for the money. Also, let’s not forget webOS, that’s quite similar to MeeGo, because they have a developer or two in common.
