While the ASUS Taichi dual screen tablet got delayed, another device with a similar unusual design is now up for sale. I’m talking about the Lenovo Yoga 11, a Windows RT slate famous for its foldable format. This 11.6 inch hybrid will be available to buy in 32 GB and 64 GB versions, priced at $849 and $949 respectively.
Post Thanksgiving discounts will take the prices down to $679 and $759, respectively. As far as shipment goes, Lenovo is saying that it will take more than 4 weeks for the product to arrive. Yoga 11 has a slim profile of just 15.6 mm and offers 13 hours of battery life. Yoga 11 packs a quad core Tegra 3 CPU, right now the only option available for Windows RT devices. Both the Yoga 13 and Yoga 11 can be converted into a stand by flipping the keyboard behind the screen, in order to watch movies, for example.
You can also bend the screen area back and make the Yoga sit upright, great for video calls and game playing. The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 has been up for preorder at Best Buy since late October and it comes with superior CPU choices, like Intel Core i7 and Windows 8 Pro in the mix as well. Yoga 11 has up to 2 GB of RAM, two 0.5 W speakers, 2 USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, 2 in 1 card reader and a 1 megapixel 720p cam.
