Lenovo has just become bigger than HP, officially being now the biggest PC maker in the world and to celebrate that we’ve got a fresh product from the Chinese company shown here. We’re dealing with the ThinkPad Twist here, a model with Windows 8 on board and the ability to twist its screen and become a full fledged tablet.
The device has a 12.5 inch display, that rotates at 180 degrees, becoming a tablet. Lenovo thinkPad Twist relies on an Intel Core i5 or i7 Ivy Bridge processor and there’s also an option with 3G on board out there. The screen has Gorilla Glass protection and supports a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The product offers up to 8 GB of RAM and either a 500 GB standard HDD or a 128 GB SSD.
Other features include a HDMI port, USB, Display port and all of that in a 1.5 kg frame. Lenovo will also give you the option to purchase the device in a Windows 8 Pro version. The product debuts with the bulk of Windows 8 devices on October 26th and the price point is 1070 euros.
