Lenovo unveiled a new tablet this week, the Lenovo TAB6 5G model, a 10.3 inch midrange device with a Snapdragon processor inside. It also has a rather large battery and a good looking design. We have more details below.
The Lenovo TAB6 5G packs a 10.3 inch TFT display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It uses a singular selfie camera for selfies and videocalls and also has an 8 megapixel backc camera with LED flash. Inside we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 processor, also seen on the Xperia 10 III and OnePlus Nord N10 5G. The device uses 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, plus a microSD card slot with support for up to 1 TB extra.
We also get 5G connectivity and a 7500 mAh battery. The case is IP3 and IP5X protected against dust and water. It runs on Android 11 and supports facial recognition for security. It relies on a single nano SIM and uses an USB-C port for charging and data transfer. There’s Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. It all fits within a body that measures 244 x 158 x 8.3 mm.
The product will drop on October 22nd in Abyss Blue and Moon White. No price yet, but I’d be shocked if it’s more than $250.
