Lenovo debuted a pretty interesting Miix tablet recently, considered a Surface Pro clone and now it’s readying two more models part of this series, according to a recent leak. Those are the Lenovo Miix 710 and Miix 720, that were specced today.
The 7xx models are said to have Intel Kaby Lake processors, not a Skylake like the recently unveiled one. Lenovo uses higher model numbers for more expensive gear, so we may get some cool specs in the end, as well. The Chinese user manual for the Miix 710 mentions a 12 inch 2160 x 1440 pixel display, plus up to 16 GB of RAM, a micro HDMI port, microSD card slot and USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports.
A 40 Wh battery also makes the cut. Reliable source Roland Quandt also found recently that there’s a Lenovo Miix 720 Surface-like 12 incher in the making, with Core i3, i5 and i7 versions prepared. The same Miix 720 appeared on the FCC website this week. Thing aren’t certain, but the Lenovo Miix 710 could a more low power and affordable version of the Miix 700, while the 720 will follow it in 2017.
