Lenovo Legion Tab Y700 (2024) has finally been unveiled, after a period of teasing. The gaming tablet has been introduced in China so far and we’re dealing with the successor to the last year model.

This is an 8.8 inch slate with a 2.5K LCD display and a 165 Hz refresh rate. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which replaces the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 of the predecessor. There’s up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM here and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage, while the VC area is 10004 mm square. Supposedly the whole cooling area is larger than a mobile phone screen.

There’s also a Super Control Smart Edition screen, which improves smoothness by 4.1 times and reduces screen glare by 96.5%. Flash points are reduced by 45% compared to conventional anti glare screens. A 6550 mAh battery is in the mix as well, plus a faster 68W charging compared to the predecessor’s 45W. We also get Android 14 with ZUI 16.1 on top, a 13 megapixel main camera and 8 MP front facing camera.

There’s Dolby Atmos, courtesy of the 2 speakers, USB-C, Wi-Fi 6E, as well as Bluetooth 5.4 and an USB-C 2.0 port. The Carbon Crystal Black model is priced at $413, in the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage version. There’s also an Ice Soul White at $427, with the same specs. The 16 GB RAM one is $470.
