Lenovo couldn’t wait for IFA 2018 to unveil tablets, so it debuted today a bunch of affordable slates, that are part of the new E Series. The prices are very low, some of them even below $100, so these are clearly devices for everyone.
Lenovo Tab E7 is powered by a MediaTek CPU and uses 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. It also has a 7 inch IPS LCD display with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, a 2 MP main camera and a 0.3 MP front shooter. We’ve also got a 2750 mAh battery, Android Oreo Go edition, which is odd to see on a tablet.
Lenovo Tab E8 goes to an 8 inch diagonal and a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. This is promoted as a kid friendly machine with a MediaTek CPU clocked at 1.3 GHz. There’s 1 GB of RAM inside, 16 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. There’s a 4850 mAh battery here, with the promise of over 2 weeks of standby time. 10 hours of playback are on the table and Android Nougat is the OS.
Lenovo Tab E10 goes big, at 10 inches with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. The specs are bumped to 2 GB of RAM and we’ve also got 16 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. Interestingly this one goes with Android Go Oreo Edition, changes the MediaTek with a Snapdragon 210 and we’ve also got a 5 MP back shooter and a 2 MP front shooter. It all ends with a 4850 mAh battery. Walmart starts selling these devices from October.
We don’t have exact prices, but we know at least one device will be $70.
