Today’s news is all about India, it seems, as local company Karbonn debuted a new 7 inch tablet with affordable price tag. The new model is called Karbonn ST72 and it features a 7 inch screen, as well as 3G and voice calling.
It’s priced at $109 and it’s now available at online retailer Snapdeal. The screen on board offers a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and inside the slate we find a dual core processor, that helps this model run Android 4.4.2 KitKat. There’s a 3.2 megapixel back camera and a front facing camera included here as well. The product has dual SIM support and 3G connectivity, plus other specs include 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and a 2800 mAh battery.
The battery seems kind of low end for this tablet, but hopefully it can offer more than 2 or 3 hours of playback. This product measures 8.9 mm in thickness, weighs 290 grams, has FM radio, GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi in the mix. Karbonn ST72 comes in white, black and grey.
