The tablet segment started blooming, once the Apple iPad was showcased in January and among the newcomers are “low end” models like the one pictured below, JXD’s Venus A30. This tablet lacks WiFi and it comes with a 7 inch touchscreen display, support for 768p video playback (available via HDMI out) and much more.

The display on board of this device only supports a 800 x 480 pixel resolution and if you’re wondering about supported video formats to play here they are: RM, RMVB, AVI, FLV, MP4, VOB, MOV, 3GP, MPG, DAT, plus loads of music files (FLAC and APE included).

No pricing was revealed yet, but we expect it to pass the $100 mark only a little bit.
