New information about Apple’s future products has surfaced and it seems to include the fact that the future iPad and iPhone will come with 4G LTE connectivity. Japanese news organization Nikkei Business released info about these products on Wednesday, especially mentioning that an iPad 3 with LTE is coming to local carrier NTT DoCoMo.

Summer next year is when this new iPad is supposed to surface and the LTE iPhone 5 is also on its way, coming next fall. Apple CEO Tim Cook is rumored to have already met with NTT DoCoMo president Kiyoyuki Tsujimura and VP Takashi Yamada last month to negotiate the debut and offers for the new devices. Agreeable terms were reached, but take all this info with a grain of salt, since it was even confirmed by NTT DoCoMo, let alone Apple.

Moving to a new connectivity type is a logical option for Apple… This is that little bit of extra that the public was waiting this year, but the Cupertino giant probably wanted the 4G technology to be perfected and widespread by the time it had an iPhone and iPad ready for it. How does a Retina Display LTE iPad sound to you?
