Infinix, a brand recognized for its budget-friendly smartphones, is preparing to expand its product lineup with the introduction of its first gaming-centric tablet, the Xpad GT. This development follows the company’s initial foray into the tablet market with the Xpad in 2024.
Recent information indicates that the Xpad GT, bearing the model number X1301, will feature 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This data emerged from a listing on the Carlcare Service platform, the official after-sales service provider for Infinix and other brands.
While specific details regarding the Xpad GT’s specifications, pricing, and release date remain undisclosed, expectations are that it will surpass the original Xpad in performance and features to cater to gaming enthusiasts. The inaugural Xpad, launched in September 2024, was equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, an 11-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 8MP front and rear cameras, and a 7,000mAh battery supporting 18W fast charging.
Given the gaming focus of the Xpad GT, enhancements in processing power, display quality, and battery capacity are anticipated to provide an improved gaming experience. The “GT” designation suggests a performance-oriented device, aligning with Infinix’s strategy to enter the gaming tablet market.
As Infinix ventures into this new segment, the Xpad GT is poised to compete with other gaming tablets, potentially offering a cost-effective option for consumers seeking high-performance devices.
