Indian tablet maker iBall just debuted locally a very interesting and affordable slate, the iBall Slide Nimble 4G model. It’s priced at just $146 and brings together VoLTe and 4G LTE connectivity, as well as a solid set of specs.

This 8 incher has a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and also relies on an IPS panel. Inside we find a quad core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.3 GHz, most likely a MediaTek chipset. Then there’s 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and Android 6.0 Marshmallow as the OS. The device reminds me a bit of the Nokia N1 and HTC Flyer, design-wise, being rounded.

It also has a main 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and a front 2 MP shooter. This is a dual SIM unit, so you can use two SIM cards on it also has the advantage of bundled MS Office, preloaded on board. Finally, there’s a 4300 mAh battery here, USB OTG and GPS. Available in gold, this model is up for sale in retail stores from India.
