If you’re looking for a sub $200 tablet in India, one that comes with voice calling features, the iBall 3G 7345Q-800 model may be the answer. In spite of the long and unsuited name, this model is actually a looker, as shown below.

The product is available to buy on major retailers in India, priced at $172. We’re dealing with a slate that relies on a 7 inch capacitive HD display with a pixel density of 215 ppi. There’s a quad core Cortex A7 processor inside, clocked at 1.3 GHz, plus 1 GB of DDR3 RAM, 8 GB of storage and a microSD card slot with support for an extra 32 GB.

The device does run the older Android 4.2 Jelly Bean sadly, but at least it’s totally covered on the connectivity side, with 3G, dual SIM, Bluetooth, USB OTG, microUSB and Bluetooth, as well as WiFi. There’s even a 5 MP camera at the back with autofocus and LED flash, as well as a front videocall 2 MP camera. A battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh runs the show and I have to tell you this is one of the very few dual SIM slates I’ve seen this year.
