Huawei is late to the teaser party when it comes to MWC 2016, but they’ve certainly got some interesting products ready for us. Among them we find the Huawei Matebook, a hybrid laptop with a detachable screen, that will come to Barcelona this weekend and it’s being teased through its stylus.

Huawei’s own CEO teased the device, that’s oriented towards business and it’s rumored to offer dual boot features. Laptops are a new field for Huawei, that has been very active in the area of smartphones and tablets over the past years. Since the handset and tablet market are slowing down, it may be a smart move from them and if CES 2016 showed us anything, it’s that convertibles are hot right now.

If it runs Windows 10, the Huawei MateBook will clearly be a Surface Pro 4 rival, but the dual boot thing may lend an upper hand to the newcomer. Huawei CEO, Yu Chengdong also posted a message on his Weibo account, with a public invitation to the MWC event, that says “the new style of business”, hinting at a productivity-oriented lineup of products.

I guess we’ll see more than one tablet and possibly a new 7 incher and 10 incher, too.
