Today, the Chinese producer Huawei announced a new tablet device called Honor S8-701u, a slate that will arrive on the global market as Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. As you can guess just by looking at its name, this device will offer a 8-inch display and pretty low end specs.
MediaPad T1 8.0 will pack a 8-inch IPS LCD display with a 1.280 x 800 pixel resolution, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, a 5-megapixel CMOS camera on the back, a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera and Android 4.3 JellyBean with Emotion UI 1.6 interface on top.
We also get WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 4.800 mAh battery. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 will be available on the Chinese market at a $162 price tag in two different color variations: white and silver.
