HTC has now made it clear via its Twitter account that it plans on updating the HTC Flyer tablet to Honeycomb a short while after the product launches. We already knew that Android 3.0 would run on HTC’s slate, but we had no idea when it will be released and even now we don’t but “shortly after” sounds good enough.
We remind you that this is a 1.5GHz single core Snapdragon tablet, with 1GB of RAM, a 7 inch display, a stylus and a 5MP camera with 720p video capture. Android 2.3.3 is running on the device right now and we’re curios if the Sense 3.0 interface will be kept even with Honeycomb on board, or it will be replaced with something else.
