HONOR’s Android 17 update plan includes a meaningful tablet component from the start. MagicOS 11 beta access is already available in China for the HONOR MagicPad 3 and MagicPad 3 Pro, putting the company’s current premium tablets alongside its newest foldables and flagship phones in the first rollout group.
For tablet users, this is still an early-access program rather than a stable software release. HONOR has not published a global rollout schedule, and U.S. availability for either the beta or the eventual stable MagicOS 11 update remains unconfirmed.
What MagicOS 11 brings
MagicOS 11 is based on Android 17 and introduces a redesigned interface that draws visual comparisons to Apple’s Liquid Glass design language. HONOR says system animations are about 20% faster. In China, its YOYO assistant can also handle workflows with as many as 100 steps, though the availability of those AI capabilities may vary by market.
The broader first wave prioritizes the company’s latest hardware, including current Magic-series phones, foldables, GT models, and the two MagicPad 3 tablets. Devices with beta access now are:
- HONOR Magic V6
- HONOR Magic V5
- HONOR Magic8
- HONOR Magic8 Pro
- HONOR Magic8 Pro Air
- HONOR Magic8 RSR Porsche Design
- HONOR Magic7
- HONOR Magic7 Pro
- HONOR Magic7 RSR Porsche Design
- HONOR WIN
- HONOR WIN RT
- HONOR GT Pro
- HONOR 600 Pro
- HONOR 600 Super
- HONOR 600 Vitality
- HONOR MagicPad 3
- HONOR MagicPad 3 Pro

Older tablets are on the roadmap
HONOR says a second set of devices will enter the China beta program during October and November. For the tablet lineup, that includes the HONOR Tablet 20 and HONOR Tablet 10. The larger list also keeps older premium hardware such as the Magic V2 and Magic5 series in line for Android 17 testing.
- HONOR Robot Phone
- HONOR Magic Vs3
- HONOR Magic V2
- HONOR Magic V2 Ultimate
- HONOR Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design
- HONOR Magic V Flip 2
- HONOR Magic5
- HONOR Magic5 Pro
- HONOR Magic5 Ultimate
- HONOR GT
- HONOR 300
- HONOR 300 Pro
- HONOR 300 Ultra
- HONOR 200
- HONOR 200 Pro
- HONOR 100
- HONOR 100 Pro
- HONOR 90 GT
- HONOR Power
- HONOR X80 Pro Max
- HONOR X70
- HONOR X70 Refresh
- HONOR X70 Pro Max
- HONOR X80i
- HONOR Tablet 20
- HONOR Tablet 10
The plan suggests that MagicOS 11 will extend beyond HONOR’s newest devices, but a place in the beta does not establish when the stable build will arrive. For MagicPad owners, the immediate takeaway is that the MagicPad 3 family is first in line, while owners of the Tablet 20 and Tablet 10 will need to wait for the later China testing window and any separate regional announcement.
