Harris is responsible with the toughest technology available, including a new 7 inch Android tablet that’s very resilient. The device is pictured below and bears the name of Harris RF-3590. You must know that this model supports a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and it comes with a dual core 1.5 GHz processor and 2GB of LPDDR2 RAM.

The specs don’t sound bad at all, although you usually expect a rugged device to be only rugged and that’s it, no extra specs or anything. The Harris tablet offers potent cameras, an 8 megapixel shooter at the back and 2 MP camera at the front. The OS of choice is Honeycomb here and the connectivity area includes the usual WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth, plus 3G, Ethernet, HDMI, SD and USB. The storage is 64GB (SSD) and you can even upgrade it to 128GB, if you fancy more.

The product is designed for soldiers in the battlefield and voice activation is also provided, but one should use that carefully, especially when the enemy is listening. No info on pricing, since this is not a civilian product, after all…
