A company called Ergo Electronics has just announced the GoNote Mini, a 7 inch mini notebook with ARM CPU and Android as the OS. Its price tag makes it a very solid options for Acer netbooks, that have been ruling the small laptop segment for years.
This ultramobile solution comes from Ergo Electronics, a company from the UK that already had a 10 inch notebook launched last year, also with Android and ARM SoC. Back to the GoNote Mini, this device has a polycarbonate chassis, supports a 800 x 480 pixel resolution and the type of CPU inside is the Rockchip RK2918 (ARM Cortex A8 single core at 1.2 GHz). There’s also 1 GB of RAM inside and 4 GB of storage.
It runs Android 4.0 ICS and its features list also include a mini USB and USB 2.0 full size port, a mini HDMI video out and microSD card slot. Upfront there’s a VGA webcam, while at the back there’s a 2 megapixel camera. This model supports WiFi and relies on a 3000 mAh batttery. The price tag for this interesting product is a mere 116 euro.
