Giadatech is yet another company I haven’t heard of, but some of you may have, since they’re apparently a name that’s made some splashes in the area of Mini PC and barebone devices. Now they entered the tablet market with two slates, the Giada i972 and Giada T720.
These two are entry level devices with budget prices. The smallest of the two newcomers if the Giada T720, a model that packs a 7 inch IPS display, with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and a dual core Rockchip RK3066 processor (ARM Cortex A9) at 1.5 GHz and Mali 400 graphics. There’s also 1 GB of DDR3 RAM on board, 8 GB of storage and a microSD card slot.
This device also comes with an USB port, HDMI, optional 3G via dongle, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. It also has a front 0.3 megapixel camera and a back 2 MP one, plus a 4000 mAh battery inside, capable of 8 hours of fun. The other product, Giada i965 packs a Rockchip RK3066 processor, a 9.7 inch 1024 x 768 pixel display, two cameras and 1 GB of RAM. 16 GB of storage, microSD and Jelly Bean are present here as well.
