Gigaset is an European company that intends to conquer the local market with a few new tablets. Based in Germany, the firm has just announced a brand new 8 inch slate, that QV830 model, shown below.

This product’s price starts at 199 euros and this is an 8 inch device with a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution and a 1.2 GHz Cortex A7 CPU inside. There’s a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus at the back and support for Full HD video capture, while upfront we find a 1.2 MP shooter with 720p video. The battery included here is supposed to offer 26 days of standby functioning and 10 hours of Internet surfing.

Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi are also on board and this model will come to Germany early next month. Gigaset QV830 relies on a quad core MediaTek 1.2 GHz CPU, has 1 GB of RAM and uses  3260 mAh battery. It runs Android 4.2.2 and offers 8 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and all of it packed within an 8 mm thick shell.
