Gemini Devices have been leaving a mark on the budget tablet market with the JoyTab series and now they’re preparing new models belonging to that same series. Luke Prodromou, head of product marketing at Gemini said that the company will bring new coloured designs to the market soon.
Gemini is preparing to release the new tablet model in silver, pink or blue and the new tablet is named Gem10313s for now. The estimated price tag for the newcomer is 149.99 quid and its specs include a dual core ARM Cortex 1.5 GHz processor, with Mali 400 quad core GPU. There’s also 1 GB of DDR3 RAM on board, 16 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot and a 9.7 inch display, with a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution.
On the connectivity side we’ve got a microUSB port, mini HDMI, 3.5 mm audio jack, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1. On the camera front we’ve got a 0.3 MP shooter upfront and a 2 megapixel one at the back. There’s a gyroscope included here and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the OS. The product measures 9.8 mm in thickness and weighs 632 grams.
