While the US is getting the Samsung Galaxy Tab slate in mid November, the folks in the UK will receive it on November 1st 2010 and Carphone Warehouse is one of the big launch partners. They’ve just announced the availability of pre-orders for the 7 inch Android 2.2 slate. It goes for 530 pounds unlocked and SIM-free, but 500 pounds is also an option, with a 30 day agreement with 10 pounds and 1GB of data per month.
The discount is minuscule honestly, but the contract ain’t much either, so you’ll probably go with it, if you live in the UK. Let’s see what the local carriers come up with… Meanwhile, Amazon UK lists the product with a 599.99 pound price tag, which is very unappealing right now.
