If we’re to belive the lately rumors, it seems that on September 29th, Google will announce two new smartphone devices with Android 6.0 Lollipop on board. We’re talking about the Nexus 5 (2015), and about the Huawei Nexus, product that arrives on the market like a successor for the actual Nexus 6 phablet.

However, these phones might arrive accompanied by another device, more precisely by a tablet. This one in case is Google Nexus 8, slate that recently showed up in a couple of live pictures straight from China. As you can see, both of these photos are showing a little bit of the tablet’s design language.

Among the things we’re noticing, stands that metallic frame, this time being the first one when Google uses such a material on a Nexus device. Looking at the picture above, we notice the fact that the tablet measures 190 mm in length, so we’re going to get a pretty balanced tablet when it comes to dimensions.

According to some previous rumors, the new tablet prepared by Google will bring an octa-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, probably one developed by Qualcomm or Mediatek. Even if other specs are unknown for the moment, we expect to see at least 3 GB of RAM, a Full HD resolution for the 8 inch display, and WiFi and LTE variants.
