Apple has just had its first iPad 2 commercial aired this weekend and they’re showing a pretty mature view on their product. Gone are the joyful songs and the playing around, as now we’re shown stocks, a brain scan, but there’s still time for the business man to practice some guitar and view photos of his family, according to this ad.
It’s not the best Apple ad, I’ll give you that, but the product itself is good enough not to need the extra promotion. We are dealing with a dual core tablet with a low price point (in the basic version), that already sold enough units to become a problem for its maker. What’s an ad going to add to this?
Now let’s see if the iPhone 5 ad that will probably pop up this summer or autumn will be as serious, or more focused on the fun side of the device…
