In April Ematic introduce the Genesis Prime tablet, a budget model that was priced below $90. It offered a modest 1.1 GHz CPU and 512 MB of RAM. Now the company is introducing yet another tablet, with a low price and the colors shown below.
The Ematic EM63 is the newcomer this time, with pretty decent specs for a $85.69 slate. We’re getting here a 1.5 GHz dual core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of storage, 5 GB of cloud storage, a microSD card slot, WiFi and mini HDMI. There’s USB 2.0, a 0.3 MP front camera and a 2700 mAh battery. Android 4.1 is on board as the OS and we’ve got Play Store access.
The device’s display has been improved here, compared to the 7 inch 800 x 480 pixel Ematic Genesis Prime. The new EM63 packs a 1024 x 600 pixel 7 inch screen and it seems to integrate some reasonably sized speakers at the back. Color choice is also not bad.
