E Fun is yet another tablet maker with a cheap Android 4.0 model, joining what seems to be a bandwagon of such devices. They showed the 9.7 inch Nextbook Elite at CES 2012 as an iPad rival with a low price and now they’re back with the Next 7S slate with Android 4.0 and a price that’s as low as $130.

The device sports 7 inch display with a 800 x 480 pixel resolution, comes with a 1GHz single core processor and 4GB of internal storage, plus microSD card slot. Jason Liszewski, managing director and VP of sales for E Fun said that this affordable gizmo would make a perfect Mother’s Day gift this year. The slate has e-reading features, WiFi, web browsing, gaming abilities and also offers the option to jot down reminders and read emails. Sadly, in spite of having Android 4.0.3, the device doesn’t sport Google Play.

Well, to replace it you have the GetJar App Store and Barnes & Noble’s Nook shop preloaded here. I wonder if by the end of the year we’ll reach 100 or so units of cheap Android 4.0 tablets and if so, how long will it take for this to start eating out of the iPad’s market?
