Having a look at Amazon.com today, we stumbled upon the Dell Streak 7 WiFi-only slate, priced at $379.99. You should know that this item hasn’t yet been released, but it can be pre-ordered right now and delivered when it arrives. This is a pretty reasonable price for a slate, but keep in mind that it’s a 7 inch unit with Android 2.2 on board.
The ability to receive future OS updates is mentioned on Amazon, as well as the 16GB of storage you get on board. WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS are all the connectivity available on this unit and the 3G version should probably pop up in a matter of weeks, as well. Let’s just hope that the product is delivered before the tablet avalanche in April.
