DAWA D7 was first introduced by its maker back in March, but at that time only its hardware specs were revealed, so the OS of choice was a mystery. Although some expected this tablet to run Windows CE, because of the interface it used, apparently this is an Android 2.1 device.
DAWA D7 features a 600 MHz Telechips 8902 chipset, based on a ARM11 processor, a 7 inch 800 x 480 display, 256 MB DDR2 RAM, 2GB NAND Flash memory and a 1500 mAh battery. The latter provides enough juice for 3 hours of web surfing and the tablet also supports 720p videos, plus it features a HDMI port for video output.
