Fresh after the last week unveiling of Nvidia’s Tegra Note slate comes a surprising device from China. The device is dubbed Colorfly T709 Q1 and it’s a slate that packs a Tegra 4 processor and a reasonable price tag.

Going for about $220, the newcomer measures 9.4 mm in thickness and packs a 7 inch 1280 x 800 pixel display, plus a 1.8 GHz Tegra 4 processor. There’s also 1 GB of RAM available, plus 16 GB of storage and a microSD card slot with support for up to 32 GB. We’ve got a 2 megapixel front camera and a 5 MP back shooter.

Finally, the OS here is Android 4.2 and the battery is a 4100 mAh unit. Colorfly T709 Q1 will most likely stay in China and it should debut there in about a few weeks. Seeing its design makes me think it was based on the reference model from Nvidia, the Tegra Note from last week. What do you think?
