Here’s yet another tablet from China, this time the Chuwi V99X model, that reminds me a lot of an older iPad, but with a much lower price. The product is priced at $180 and it features a 9.7 inch screen with Retina resolution.
The Chuwi V99X supports a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution and uses specs like 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, a 9500 mAh battery and offers support for Huawei’s 3G data card. From what I can see the slate can make phone calls somehow and it also comes with WiFi and a case that’s only 7.9 mm thick. The CPU used here is a Rockchip one, the quad core RK3188 that I’ve seen on so many slates.
Paying $180 for a 3G tablet with Retina resolution sounds very good, especially since this is a big diagonal model. I also have great expectations from that big battery capacity. How about you?
