We wrote about the Chuwi HiBook 2 in 1 tablet twice, but we weren’t sure about the specs or price earlier this month. Well, today we learn that the 10.1 inch convertible model is going to cost $239.
It brings a 10.1 inch 1920 x 1200 pixel display and an Intel Cherry Trail Atom-x5 Z8300 processor. It’ll come with Android or Windows 10 and two full size USB ports, as well as one USB Type C and 2 megapixel front camera. There will be a main 5 megapixel shooter and a 6600 mAh battery on board. While RAM and storage aren’t detailed exactly, I’m guessing 4 GB and 64 GB respectively should be the norm.
The keyboard shown here is optional and available separately, which would explain the price above. The angle and placement of the keyboard and the general format of the device are totally inspired by the ASUS Transformer series, but I’m curious if the hinge area is also drawn from there.
