The guys of Mobilissimo.ro have stumbled upon a deal in local Romanian retailer eMag, that offers a Tegra 2 tablet for about $300. The slate is Hannspree SN10T130R1, a slate model that’s pretty hard to remember, if you ask me. Keep in mind that other Tegra 2 models such as the Motorola Xoom cost more than double that amount.
Hannspree’s device packs an LED multitouch display with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, a 1GHz dual core Tegra 2 CPU, 512MB of RAM (DDR2) and 16GB of flash memory. Android 2.2 Froyo is the OS of choice and you’ll also find a microSD card slot on this unit. Connectivity-wise, you get WiFi b/g/n, a miniHDMI port, a miniUSB one and Bluetooth 2.1.
No trace of 3G, but for this price, what more can you want? The battery is a 3.650 mAh unit and the whole device weighs 750 grams, while measuring 13.9mm in thickness. Of course, the Froyo OS and lower resolution don’t seem like a match for Honeycomb, but at least the price is right…
